Make Miracles in Forty Days

Hi everyone

I'm Susie, from England. I haven't been able to work out how to use the forums, so I haven't posted before. I've read lots of your books, Melody - recommended to me by my beautiful friend, Gill Edwards, who passed away recently. They spoke to me in many ways, but this one - well, it just blows me away in its simplicity, for somehow it cuts straight to my heart, my soul. I've been doing my gratefulness lists for 38 days now; each time I enter into the spirit of them, I touch the deepest part of me, the real me, that's been longing for a voice for far too long, and each time, I cry a little from a sense of recognition. I'm so aware I need to have a deeper, far longer cry, for I've been dealing with family issues for the past year or so, and HAD to 'hold it together' in order to interact from a place of composure. But it's been the toughest year of my life, and I'm 66! Things are almost completed, and when they are, I know I'll be able to break down and weep my heart out, for in Truth, the horrid stuff has gone on and on for years; it wore me down and wore me out.

But you give me such hope, and already I've seen mini miracles - my 'voice' is returning, and I have a much stronger sense of 'self'. And all I needed to do was get real about all my so called 'negative' feelings - for they have brought me home to me.

Thank you so much for your comment - it made me giggle! It's good to know there is someone else doing Melody's work, who is close to my age - I feel a 'kinship' with you, too. How is your journey going?
