Welcome Guest, posting in this forum requires registration. Forum » Making Miracles in 40 Days » Welcome to the Forums! » Hello Hi everyone I'm Susie, from England. I haven't been able to work out how to use the forums, so I haven't posted before. I've read lots of your books, Melody - recommended to me by my beautiful friend, Gill Edwards, who passed away recently. They spoke to me in many ways, but this one - well, it just blows me away in its simplicity, for somehow it cuts straight to my heart, my soul. I've been doing my gratefulness lists for 38 days now; each time I enter into the spirit of them, I touch the deepest part of me, the real me, that's been longing for a voice for far too long, and each time, I cry a little from a sense of recognition. I'm so aware I need to have a deeper, far longer cry, for I've been dealing with family issues for the past year or so, and HAD to 'hold it together' in order to interact from a place of composure. But it's been the toughest year of my life, and I'm 66! Things are almost completed, and when they are, I know I'll be able to break down and weep my heart out, for in Truth, the horrid stuff has gone on and on for years; it wore me down and wore me out. But you give me such hope, and already I've seen mini miracles - my 'voice' is returning, and I have a much stronger sense of 'self'. And all I needed to do was get real about all my so called 'negative' feelings - for they have brought me home to me. Thank you, Melody DEAR SUSIEN7: It sounds like you are a wonderful person - I am going to be turning 63 this year and so feel especially close to you in age. Isn't it amazing how we can get to be this age and still be "learning to talk?" Hi Bryan May our voices become stronger, and more vibrant as we mature further. Big hugs to you from this small island, fellow traveller Susie I was just thinking how wonderful it would be to live in an area where everyone was working on themselves through processes like this. Can you imagine meeting in the evenings to discuss some work that spoke of self-forgiveness or love. Seeing people doing Meditation - Yoga - Thai Chi - everywhere....going to the store where everyone was shopping and cheerful. Wow - I know it sounds like a commune but I am talking about an imaginary city - state - country where, just by chance this was being done - California you say? haha Ah - there is such a community, Bryan. It's called Findhorn, way up in the North East of Scotland - a very spiritual place, full of both magic and practicality, where our planet, and its people, are treated with respect and love! Check it out ... I actually have 2 Findhorn books - written by a lady who is very profound.

Thank you so much for your comment - it made me giggle!
It's good to know there is someone else doing Melody's work, who is close to my age - I feel a 'kinship' with you, too. How is your journey going?

I have been doing my "Miracle" process over and over again because my life has been filled with so much "GUNK" lately - I look at the process as oil for the valves....haha
